Keeping up my semi-random pattern of posting. I had intended to upload a rain shot as my second picture, but it took me until now to find this album, because I'm really smart. Anyway, I like this shot, primarily because I like rain storms and, in my humble opinion, it conveys that feeling reasonably effectively. I might as well point out now that there will be few portraits, as I'm too shy a photographer for that.
Wow, I love this rain. Great capture; looks like a real torrent! It has a look not terribly unlike the backyards in my own neighbourhood

@Damon Schreiber: Thanks Damon. Rain is my absolute favourite (especially when it is really heavy and I'm inside). This was the biggest rainstorm we'd had in years, so I got clicking!
hey man. I know this view! and this weather! you've managed to capture the fury of the ol' english climate here. I miss the rain to be honest. we get a bit of it in july (rainy season) but there's nothing like the constant drumming against the panes of england.

@Duncan Galbraith: Yeah, it's a pretty awesome atmosphere - and we're planning on moving soon, so it's nice to have memories of The Loft View. Especially as my visual memory is rubbish.
